First, you don’t have to pay for a dedicated flight to get to where your cruise is leaving from. Simply find a mini cruise that is departing from a location near where you are already vacationing. From there you will slowly sail to another lovely location with its sights for you to explore. If you add up the cost of accommodation, food and travel, you will find that a mini cruise is surprisingly affordable and may not actually add much expense to your existing trip.

Add a Cruise to Your Vacation

If you have a regular land vacation planned, for instance a tropical vacation, you can simply add a mini cruise to it at some point. For instance if you are in Cancun you can hop on a ship and sail to Cuba for a few days. At that point you can explore, go back to Mexico or finish your trip and go home. These short cruises of 2-4 days are an easy and cost effective way to experience some ocean voyaging on your vacation.
