Remember that if you arrange you car hire through a third party like your travel agent or hotel then you will be far more likely to pay more as they will take a commission on the hire.
Car Hire From Where You Are Staying
If you are on a package deal that includes airport transfers then you may not need a car to get you from the airport. If you just want to hire a car for the odd day trip then hiring a car from a provider can be a good option. Bear in mind that these providers tend to be more expensive than those at the airport and some of the independent ones have older cars.
